Avra is Amazing!

I went to Avra for a 60 minute Intuitive Massage (thanks for the amazing gift SustainLane!) and I was thoroughly impressed. My therapist, Simone, used a blend of Swedish, trigger point, reflexology, and cranial-sacral massage to help me feel completely relaxed. I spend a good portion of my days typing on a computer and the massage eased all the tension building up in my shoulders. Simone was very personable and professional, as was the rest of Avra’s staff.

The spa’s interior design was and gorgeous and simply walking into the spa from the hustle and bustle of the street instills an unparalleled sense of calm. The only downside of my experience at Avra is that I developed a little massage addiction and will have to splurge on them more frequently!

AMAZING

I'm a hard grader and without hesitation I give Avra the full 5 stars! Nothing beats it! A trip to this spa is a vacation away from all the craziness in your life. From the second I stepped into Avra, I was greeted by the warmest and friendliest staff. You could tell that every worker there was sincere and truly wanted to help you. This spa was nicely decorated creating a serene ambiance. The complimentary slimming tea in the waiting room was so good! I went in for a colonic. Prior to coming in, I was really nervous. The person who helped me, Tira, was super friendly and made me feel comfortable. The colonic was AMAZING! I felt so refreshed and rejuvenated after. I'm already a healthy person, and the colonic made me feel even better! I even felt some of my emotional stress lifted. Tira said this was because sometimes the stuff in your colon is tied to your emotions, so getting rid of the waste in your colon is like letting go of emotional baggage. I loved my entire experience! I can't wait to return to San Francisco and try all their services. Body wraps sound great!

P.S. don't forget to buy their chocolates...they're SOOO worth it!!!!
