Bar made with finest organic oils.
BuyThese soaps are simple. Simple idea, simple ingredients, simply good! With out any unnecessary color or fragrance additives, this soap is all about the all-natural ingredients. I appreciate novel packaging and lowering my carbon foot print and Pangea meets the mark on both of those. The packaging is 100% biodegradable. If you let it sit in your yard, after a few rains the packaging will disintegrate and eventually a tree will grow in its place; all Pangea bar packages have a tree seed inside!

I was all excited about this product when I saw it in Whole Foods, thinking, 'high price, cool packaging*, must be a great product!' Having a strange change of skin type in my mid-20s (from dry and acne-free to oily and acne-prone), I was really looking for something to clear my skin up!!! Bought the appropriate cleanser, toner, and moisturizer and went to work on my daily regimen. Well, the bottles are almost empty, and no change. If anything, I think my skin may have gotten worse! Now, I hate to go back to products like Neutrogena that test on animals and pollute the earth, but am afraid there is not all-natural vegan-friendly product that will be as effective. This makes me sad.
*On the topic of the packaging: would be great if i had a garden outside, but I live in an apartment where I don't have space to spread out the large box into X amount of soil/water for X amount of days before planting it. Bummer. Maybe I can ask my mom to deal with it?

Pangea has great packaging. But they have forgotten that it is what is inside the bottle that counts. The soap is way overpriced and simply did not feel good. I made the mistake of buying some of their other overpriced products at Whole Foods and was completely disappointed. It would take a lot to get me to try another one of their products.

Pangea products work well for me and i love the aromatherapeutic oils used for the scents. I am especially smitten with the Pyrenees Lavender with Cardamon body wash. It cleans well without stripping my dry skin of oil and the scent gives me a feeling of peace before the mad rush of the day. The bar soap lasts me at least six weeks. I do not leave it in the shower so it stays dry and lasts longer. The lotion is really cool in that it has organic rice bran extract which helps exfoliate the skin and leaves my skin much smoother and softer than before. So kudos to Pangea Organics! They are rather expensive but worth the cost for me. My husband likes them too, particularly the Canadian Pine with White Sage scent. I'm looking forward to trying their new exfoliating facial scrub and lip balms too.

I really like this soap, it lathers and you can tell all the ingredients are so natural. Yet, the bar soap doesn't last very long, 3 weeks tops- if you're using it sparingly. And yes, it is very pricey for a bar soap. Yet, I like the company and its products are amazing so I will continue to purchase.

I recently bought a $7 bar of soap from Pangea. While the packaging was really beautiful and the soap seems to work (its lathers and smells nice), i don't know if its worth $7. I actually tried to make my own soap a few years back and did a lot of research which made me understand why natural, vegetable types soaps are really important (it all absorbs into your skin) but $7?
Maybe it I knew they gave some of that money to a good cause it would feel like the price was worth it. Or if the box was something i could use as a decoration. Or maybe if that cute guy who works at Pangea had his photo on the box! Then i might not feel like I got slightly ripped off but right now I think I will stick to the $.99 glycerin soap at Whole Foods...
By the way, the people who work there are incredibly nice and not too bad looking either.

Pangea is doing a lot of great things in the environment and for the world but the products have some flaws. The liquid soap leaves your hands feeling sticky and you have to wash them again with a different soap. The lotions do not seem to moisturize at all. They feel like alcohol. Your face feels more dry after you have put the lotion on. The boxes are cool, the packaging is very nice. The bars of soap are really nice. The staff is super nice.

I have been using Pangea Organics bar soaps for years. I recently purchased their liquid soap, shower gel and facial products as well. I am excited to add these products to my sink and shower!

I just bought this product after learning about the organic line at the Green Festival in San Francisco. The smell is great, but a little does not go a long way. It is too expensive for what you get. They say it is concentrated, but the lather disappears in seconds. You end up having to use too much. There are better organic products out there.

If you haven't already tried it, you MUST take a moment to try the Pangea Organics soaps and body washes. They are the perfect combination of a great lather and a light refreshing scent. What REALLY amazes me is that the soaps and washes last such a long time. A drop the size of a quarter is enough to lather my whole body TWICE!
On top of all that, if you bury the soap carton, they grow basil plants! I hear that they will change the types of seeds in the cartons every so often. If that's true then I'll have an awesome window box by spring.
I'm hooked!

I learned about Pangea Organics at the San Francisco Green Festival three years ago. I tried their bar soaps and instantly fell in love with the performance, scent and quality. Along with that, I learned about all the wonderful things they do for the environment. I now recommend the company and products to everyone I know and meet! I also got the store at the non-profit company I work for the bring in the products! They are a wonderful company and have great bar soaps, face and body care! Thank you Pangea Organics and Green Festival!!!

I work at an organic Day Spa and Store, and if you are still willing to try an organic/vegan product line for your face I would absolutely recommend trying Suki. To start off, the exfoliating foaming cleanser and... more »
