Good stuff!
I received this as a Christmas gift once and love it. When I opened it, I hadn't even heard of it yet. Everyone else raved about it, but I was thinking they were probably all hyped-up over nothing. As it turned out, I was wrong.
The initial cost of the starter kit is pricier than some care for, but the stuff lasts a long time. I ended up staying with it because it looks so natural, feels so light, and my skin has NEVER been in better shape. The down-side? (Yes there had to be one.) The coverage isn't quite what I'd like it to be sometimes. (ugh)
Since coverage was my only real issue, we did the half face experiment. I used my regular stuff on one side, and BareMinerals on the other. The results? My old stuff did indeed cover better, BUT it looked so unnatural compared to the other side. Secondly, it was obvious that it also highlighted the little lines under my eyes (at 30-something) where the BareMinerals seemed to almost float right over. That was proof enough for me:)

My favorite foundation
It is a powder, yet it doesn't dry my skin out at all. The color "fairly light" matches my skin perfectly. It covers imperfections without being noticeable. It is talc- and oil-free. It is made out of ground minerals, and nothing else. My favorite make-up. It looks pricey, but one thing of foundation lasted me 6 months and I used it every day.

If you really take a look at the mica in these products, it's really not a good product. Mica contains lead, mercury, and arsenic, and is a cause of cosmetic acne. My daughter ended up with cystic acne from Bare... more »
