Colorful, well-made, super soft cotton yoga pants and tops...one of the best I've come across!
I am an avid ashtangi...I practice for 2 hours every day (at a yoga studio) so what I wear has to be comfortable AND look good. Many yoga wear on the market look great but aren't really practical when it comes to actually doing yoga...i.e., the pants ride up, material is too heavy, seams rub the wrong way, holds on to sweat etc. etc. I bought one pair of the Beckons strength capri. Did one yoga class wearing it and promptly ordered THREE more the minute I got back from class. They were THAT comfortable! The organic cotton was super soft and had just the right amount of stretch to move with me when doing the yoga poses. I never got hot in them, they seem to wick sweat away very well, they were lightweight, looked great and the fit was fantastic without being super tight. They were wonderful to practice in. I would have ordered every color they had but thought I needed to practice some self-control! The tops are really cute too and coordinate perfectly with the pants. Also, the colors are very vibrant and happy and joyful! Cherry reds, fushia, ocean blue, lime green, grape as well as the traditional black, brown and gray. As for sizing, I would say they are true to size although if you want a more comfortable fit, order in your size but if you want a tighter fit, then go down a size. I wear a 4 in jeans and dresses, a size 6 in Lululemon, an extra-small in Be Present and I can wear a small in Beckons although an extra small looks better on me (because I have a really tiny frame and have a pancake butt and the small is just a smidge baggy in the butt for me...the extra small is perfect). Most women though would do fine ordering in their regular size, unless they are super tiny, then go a size down. I am really loving this line and hope to order more tops and pants in the future. By the way, I ordered directly from Beckons in Colorado and they shipped super fast. I ordered on a Friday and my order arrived the following Monday via priority mail and I'm in Michigan!
