i've had most of their flavors, and they're all great. my personal favorite: HONEY LAVENDER!!! so good i've eaten a whole pint by myself. oddly enough, they get their honey from a beehive on 16th street in the mission. i'm pretty sure the diary end comes from Straus Family, too.
they use all compostable materials so when you're done eating, you throw it in the green bin. it's not super duper close to my apartment, but i've walked out of my way multiple times to eat it. yum.
Okay, this is the best ice cream I've ever had, hands-down. And don't worry, I've been to Italy, I've hung out in Boston where the ice cream rules, I've made my own many times. Anyway, they use the rockinest ingredients ever -- completely local, organic and sustainable. They use Strauss cream. And I live 2 blocks away! You should see the line out of this place on a sunny weekend. My favorite flavor is the salted caramel. I like to get it with homemade toffee and caramel sauce. Overkill? You betcha. :)
