First things first - I have only ever gone here for brunch, and I always order the same thing (the dutch eggs are amazing), so that definitely limits my view of how good the restaurant is as a whole. However, I live right there and go ate least once a month. It never disappoints.
Obviously, the back patio is a huge draw - there is nothing like going out back there on a nice day and just relaxing while enjoying this zen/natural garden thing they have going on. I like getting there somewhat early in the morning (1030/11, which is early for brunch) so that the waiter only has to deal with me and maybe 1 or 2 other tables. He has always been really nice to me.
Then comes the food. They have what is in my opinion the single best hollandaise sauce i have ever tasted. And considering my love of Benedict's, I have tasted plenty. I have had better Benedict's overall, but the hollandaise - OH MY GOD.
Then there are the breakfast potatoes - so good! I love them, they are the perfect combination of potato and seasoning and peppers for me early in the morning. Not too much, not too little - perfect.
Plus - Organic. That is excellent by me.
That's my take - not the best breakfast place in the world, but if you are there and want to eat organic food outside early on a weekend, I give it two thumbs up.

I had a terrible culinary experience at this restaurant a couple of weeks ago. They claimed to have fresh-squeezed orange juice, which was clearly NOT fresh-squeezed, and the waiter lied to me about it when I asked him! Also, Sunday's hash browns must have been Saturday's, since they tasted as if they had been popped in the microwave for a few minutes before being brought to the table. Everything else was fair to mediocre at best. Do yourself (and your palate) a favor and steer clear of this place the next time you're looking for organic food on Haight Street!
