Works great for cat poop, too!

I've finally found a (partial) solution to the kitty litter disposal situation -- instead of using leftover plastic bags (I'm out of those, anyway), I'm using Biobag to dispose of the cat poop I scoop out every day (or twice a day if they're, um, busy).

These bags are biodegradable and compostable. Sadly, animal feces is not compostable in Alameda County. I'm also using a "flushable" litter -- but folks in California should not ever flush cat poop because the toxoplasms are killing sea otters.

At least I can feel good that the plastic is not going to live forever in the landfill -- and one day, I'll figure out the energy consumption and trade offs for using something like a Litter Maid (http://www.littermaid.com/).

Almost perfect

Love the the biocompostable quality, love the feel, love the built-in closure (very clever). The only thing I would improve is the price. The cheapest I've found them rounds out to $.07 a bag.

These bags are full of crap--in a good way

These 100% biodegradable and compostable bags are just what the doctor ordered...no more plastic trash or shopping bags needed, and they're sturdy to boot. The best green product, to me, is one that does not sacrifice quality, and these are nice, tough little bags.

i wish i had more money to spend on dog poop

i compost everything i can, and when i found out that i can also compost my doggie's doodie, i jumped for joy! i hate hate hate using plastic bags to do the dirty deed. i immediately went to my local pet store and found these. then i looked at the price tag, blurred and rubbed my eyes to make sure what i was seeing was right. I spent about $8 that day, which will only last me about two weeks. *sad clown face*. on the other hand, they're FANTASTICO!!!! I just don't know if i can keep up with the price.

Corn Poop Bag!

I was feeling bad about using plastic bags to pick up my dog's poop each day so I did some searching around online and found Biobag Dog. These biodegradable dog poop bags are made out of corn. How cool is that?! I use them exclusively now. I ordered them online and the cost averages about ten cents per bag. Quite a deal.
