Please educate yourself on "BIOCOMPOSTABLE"
I don't want to be a killjoy and I think one small step is better than nothing, But please know that Biocompostable is not Biodegradable. When you throw these products in the garbage they do not melt into the earth. They must be composted waste, or they last as long as plastic. The earth has to be moved and at the right temperature and create compost. I hope some day our waste management catches on and does such but until then.... use less of anything disposable! reuse your plastic bags, and don't be manipulated into purchasing more consumer waste. I hate to be devils advocate I really do... I am all about saving the earth, I just don't want people thinking we all get a get out of the landfill free card.

Make a difference...easily
Never buy styro again. How easy is it to picnic with these fabulous plates, utensils, etc...that biodegrade! Fabulous, easily utilized concept. Thank you for a truly innovative product!

This is exactly the kind of product that large venues/parties need to utilize. Biodegradable products will greatly reduce the amount of trash and waste in our societies.

Compostable ziplocks, trash bag
I am really into these bags. I can now buy little zip locks and trash bags and know they will be composted. Great idea!

The Wonder of Recycables
I found that it is a wonder for the human race population to find a way to give back to Mother Earth something in return such as making a product that is biodegradable. When for many years we have rapped her and been so abusive with her by constantly taking and destroying the earth and her waters. For a company such as World Centric to discover a means of being able to use a product that is not only clean, but one that in a matter of time will evaporate instead of sitting on Mother earth to smell up and destroy her. Thank you for the wonder of your company.

To Have Your Cake and Eat Your Utensils Too!!
This is such an amazing idea that every take out restaurant should consider...These COMPOSTABLE utensils, plates and other products are degraded within just a few months because they are made from CORN and POTATOES! Normal Styrofoam and plastic take years to degrade...They are really sturdy too! So, instead of going back for seconds, just take a bite of your fork...:-)

Amazing
I am here on behalf of my campus group called ECO Students at SFSU. We are looking to green our campus in a number of ways. One way is that we would like the food vendors on campus to replace their plates, utensils and cups with biodegradable products or washable ones. I'm really blown away by this company's product and would like to advocate for its use campus wide. I know I will personally purchase them for my own use.

Biocompostable Disposables
World Centric is an awesome organization that not only provides Sugar Cane Fiber and Corn/Potato Starch plates, bowls, trash bags, containers, but also provides education regarding their efforts to reduce environmental degradation. My orders came in very promptly (2 days) and complete and when I had an emergency order on a weekend, they sent that out on time also. This was my first experience with biocompostables and it was very positive.

You're absolutely correct about biocompostables. If these items are thrown away, they will NEVER biodegrade in a landfill. Today's landfill technology, i.e. dump and pile, is not ideal because it creates an anaerobic... more »
