Birders' Blend Shadegrown Coffee Supports Non-Profit ABA
A medium-roast organic, fair trade coffee rich in flavor with a smooth finish. Over Thanksgiving, we served Birder's Blend to our family, who remarked, without our prompting, how much they liked liked the coffee we were serving. I'm also enjoying this particular blend, as I sip my own steaming a.m. brew while watching the Chickadees flocking to our bird feeders on these cold and frosty fall mornings.
Song Bird Coffee is a joint venture between the American Birding Association (ABA) and Thanksgiving Coffee Company. Fifteen cents per package is donated to ABA to promote the health and the safety of bird populations throughout the world.
Factoids: "33% of all migratory birds that breed in the United States spend the winter in coffee growing areas of Latin America. Shade coffee farms support over 150 species of birds."
