Velvety Smooth

My sister and I recently purchased the Plain Sheep Yogurt at Andronico's Market and loved it. What a treat. I wanted to try it as I've been trying different goat yogurt which seems to be more liquid than regular cow's milk yogurt. Bellwether Farms Sheep Yogurt has a perfect consistency-velvety smooth. It is truly decadent. Cow's milk just doesn't agree with me. I have 8oz. of yogurt with 6oz. of fruit every morning and am pleased to say I look forward to my breakfast which now includes Bellwether Farms brand Plain Sheep Yogurt.

In a blind taste test, I'd say cow's milk

Local to the San Francisco Bay Area, this sheep's milk yogurt comes out of Petaluma, CA. The taste was really similar to regular yogurt. I tried the blackberry flavor, and the fruit on the bottom wasn't freeze dried. It contains no artificial sweeteners, and live active cultures. I would buy this yogurt again even though it isn't organic. Also, kudos to the recyclable plastic container (#5)--I hate, hate, hate it when a yogurt cup comes in a plastic number that I can't recycle in my area. Oh! and apparently, sheep's milk is good for people who have allergies to cow's milk.
