stinky garden goodness

Blood meal sounds gross, and it kind of is. It's smelly and strange. But, it's a great source of nitrogen for your garden. I used it when preparing my vegetable bed this year, and when I transplanted a shoot from my grandma's lilac bush, and the bush thrived. I also am impressed that it and many other EB Stone products come in cardboard boxes that when empty can be put into the compost pile or recycling bin, whichever is available to you.

On the EB Stone site, it says blood meal can also be used to activate compost piles and to repel some rodents (cause the stuff is pretty dang stinky).
