My Boo! Key Ball order arrived a day too late...so I have a bowl of Halloween decorated packets that I will eat one at a time simply for an energy snack, when I have nothing else close at hand - like right now, while I'm writing this review.
Interestingly, Boo! Key Balls are not round, not balls, but a slightly sticky pack of seeds - white and black sesame, peanuts, dried raspberry bits, cane sugar and juices, and something called "buckey balls" that I did not see in the mix, all loosely bound together by honey. The taste and texture was nothing remarkable, but at least they were expensive...at 2 bucks a serving. I honestly can't imagine any kid saying," mmm, good, gee, I wish everyone would hand out nutritious snacks like this on Halloween!" Gotta go - I need to floss those darn little seeds out of my teeth right now....

BOO! Key Balls were created after seeing so many health-conscious parents challenged during the traditional Halloween or Harvest Celebration activities that typically include over-indulging our children in candies laden with processed sugars, artificial colors, artificial flavorings, and chemical preservatives.
To help parents out during this time, The WholeFood Farmacy created a healthy Halloween treat called "BOO! Key Balls," and they are a delicious snack made from pure evaporated cane juice and flavored with pure essential oils and raspberries. These tasty raspberry tarts will put a smile on every child's face without the processed sugars, trans fats, high fructose corn syrup and other artificial ingredients commonly found in other commercial candies.
