College Student Jesse Powell Reviews "It's Easy Being Green" by Emma Sleeth

"The Sleeths' youngest child, Emma Sleeth, has written her own book geared towards students. Her book is called It’s Easy Being Green: One Student’s Guide to Serving God and Saving the Planet. Emma presents the case for creation care in a way that is relevant and interesting to young adults. She provides tips for everything from clothes and technology, to food and school, all of which are prominent in the life of the average American teenager. Emma challenges students to do their part to care for the earth, no matter how small they start. “Many hands make light work—many souls do great works,” Emma said in her book. Emma’s book is a great place for young adults and even beginners to start their journey towards a green lifestyle.

Every journey begins somewhere, and I recommend that your green journey begin with these books. They are the perfect guides for the Christian who has a heart for learning how to change their lifestyle so that it better supports this world. The Sleeth’s books, alone or (even better) together, are relevant for Christians with a desire to “go green, save green”…all while serving God and saving the planet."
