Breads of India is one of the big favorites in Berkeley - it's a restaurant that attracts a lot of people and often has a bit of a wait on weekend evenings. For good reason - they do have solid, very tasty food.

Their food is really good - they use fresh ingredients and focus on organic food. They have a daily specials menu but things can be a bit inconsistent. A survey of reviews on other sites shows that folks love or hate this restaurant these days - a sure sign of high turnover in the kitchen which affects the consistency and quality of the dishes and service.

There are so many Indian and Pakistani restaurants that are at least as good that you shouldn't have to wait -- and many of them are really consistently good.
