A good last resort meal...
I confess - I have eaten Amy's meals before. I always feel guilty with the horrible plastic wrapper. It's really cheap ingredients with horrible packaging -- only a good solution in a pinch. It is much greener to make up and freeze my own rice-veggie bowls -- tastier, too.
As far as processed and packaged food goes - in a pinch - Amy's will work, but you won't find them in the freezer at my house.

Its hard to find ready-to-heat meals that are non-GMO, as well as gluten and dairy free. Amy's Bowls, are a quick and nutritious meal for those needing a quick meal in less than five-minutes. I just ate an Amy's Brown Rice & Veggie Bowl for lunch. It was steaming hot, actually too hot to eat after microwaving it for 4-minutes. It's bland until it cools down and you can taste the sesame tahini sauce. Besides the rice and tofu, the bowl has a mix of vegetables: mushrooms, onions. broccoli, carrots, celery and spinach. One bowl is a single serving with 280 calories.
