Buffalo Exchange- Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

Buffalo Exchange promotes recycling through their very business model. At any of their 30 locations, one can trade in their old clothes for store credit or cash, essentially enabling a trading your-old-stuff for her-old-stuff lifestyle. Upon making a purchase, a choice of bag or eco-friendly token is given. The token is worth the price of the bag - 5 cents- and can be dropped into one of three boxes designating a charity. At the end of a designated time period, the money saved on bags is given to each charity based on how many tokens are in their box.

In the corporate office, Buffalo Exchange mandates recycling and offers charity donation matching to employees, in addition to their already healthy charitable contributions.
