Yeah, really. I thought I had caught a vegan pie in the act of using butter! but alas, I did not.
This is a super yummy completely vegan cherry pie. It also had a nice tart to the cherry filling, so it wasn't overwhelmingly sweet. The crust was cooked perfectly and basically, I was pretty darn happy eating it.
Try with vanilla ice cream.

This is great cherry pie. The ingredients are simple, vegan and make for a delicious treat with Straus Organic Ice Cream. It was more gelatinous in the middle than I personally like in a cherry pie (I like mine with whole cherries in it), but overall it was wonderful.

This pie is delicious. Seriously. I am super critical of changing pastry recipes, but these guys did a good job. Instead of butter they use veggie/soy oil, and they use evaporated cane juice not processed sugar.
The crust is flaky, the cherries are tart. You can buy the pies partially baked and bring them home to finish them off, cool dude!
Don't misunderstand though, this pie being vegan doesn't mean that you should eat the whole thing - 1/6 of it has 14g fat, 6 saturated. It's still a treat.

Vegan, did you say? Wow, this pie tastes like it's loaded with butter and, and, and...it's about as good as a pie can get if it's not homemade, unless you're at some upscale restaurant that's known for their desserts.
Very tasty, not too sweet, and it sure doesn't taste vegan. I'm a huge fan of cherry pie, and this makes me dig Whole Foods even more.

It's mindblowing. I'm not sure which is better, this or strauss organic vanilla ice cream!
They taste great together.
