My 2008 Chinook Book-EcoMetro Guide (Portland/Eugene) has over 400 coupons to use at local, green, sustainable businesses i.e. restaurants, grocers, garden stores, home improvement, health, entertainment, recreation, etc.

Not only can I saving hundreds of dollars over this next year on products and services, but the Chinook Book is chalked full of healthy, sustainable living tips and valuable information. This latest edition has a few new features including neighborhood maps and a carbon counter guide "Know Your Footprint" linked to www.carboncounter.org. You get all this for 20 bucks!

For a business, product, or service to be in the Chinook Book, it must demonstrate that it reduces environmental impact, by meeting one of the following criteria (1) independent third-party certification i.e. organic, Energy Star, Green Seal, Fair Trade, etc.,(2) First-Party Certification, and/or (3) Substitution Advantage.

Printed on 40% post-consumer paper with soy ink.
