Urbs in Horto

...and now a farm in the city! City Farm is another initiative by the Resource Center. CF's main objective is to turn vacant city lots into a community asset - a sustainable organic farm, as they did at the corner of Clybourn and Division. Their renown produce is grown with composted soil from local sources, and it is sold to many of our great local chefs - making the localvore challenge even easier - and it's also for sale at their market stand. In addition to their 'movable feast' they are providing education and training in organic farming, and hope to provide on-site jobs, and expand into underserved neighborhoods.
