City of San Francisco

As the title suggests, the city named after St. Francis of Assissi. Or is it?

More renewable power to the people!

This is gonna be short so listen up! SF isn't as green as they try to make it out to be sometimes, but it's doing pretty fartin' well.
Public transit is very viable, owing to General Motors failing to buy up its streetcars in the 1920s-60s as they did (along with Standard Oil and Firestone Tire...) in metros such as Los Angeles, Columbus, Detroit, Oakland, etc.
So given that legacy and the fresh, pirate-free trade winds that blow through the gate, this city does alright. Plenty of locally farmed food, many people on the MUNI busses/trains, high density, high recycling rate (69%). City staff are well aware of Peak Oil and What That Means. What more is there to be said? Transit ridership isn't as high as Vancouver's. I want to see some congestion pricing and no more cars on Market! Hence, 4 stars. Keep up the good work!
