My mother used Bon Ami and I have used Bon Ami for 30+ years, especially to clean my Coroningwear cooking containers. It also does a marvelous job on my stainless steel sink, in getting rid of coffee stains, grease stains, etc. I recently "BURNT" olive oil in a stainless steel frying pan, Bon Ami got the burnt oil out, took a lot of elbow grease, but the pan looks brand new! It is great for cleanig the marble counter tops and sinks in the Master Bathroom and the Guest Bathroom, which stain fairly easily. It is realy good on formica counter tops, it gets the stains out without ruining the finish.
I have one problem, I can no longer find Bon Ami in the grocery stores. I was beginning to think it was not being producted any more, until I checked the Internet! I wish I did not have to purchase it in bulk quantities, though.

Made without chlorine, perfume or dye, Bon Ami is a great product that's been around well over 100 years. It cleans the heck out of everything. It doesn't pollute the water, it's not harmful (I mean, it's not like you want to rub it in your eyes or anything). Did you know that the reason a chick is the symbol used on the product is because it doesn't scratch for food for 2 or 3 days after hatching? That's pretty funny, old timey humor. I wonder if some farmer invented this stuff. Anyway, the packaging is 75 percent recycled paper and the product is completely biodegradable!

Bon ami is a non-toxic alternative to comet-like cleansers. It does not have any chlorine or dioxins.
