Giovanni Grapefruit Sky Body Wash

A load of crap. I am really upset with this body wash, which really should not happen. After some research I also discovered that the body wash was not actually really organic and did contain many of the mainstream chemicals that are not good for my skin. So the body wash comes in this really attractive bendy container with frosty plastic. I thought, Hey. Give it a try. I hit the showers after a nice jog and I try it on. The stuff goops out onto my hand and then sucks itself back into the container. I think, "Ok, a bit weird and unusual for organic body wash." But with a second squeeze it comes out fine. I apply it and the stuff froths and lathers like a monster. I am thinking, "Great! An organic natural body wash that actually creates bubbles. :) I'm amazed!". But after I wash it off I realize that it stripped off my natural skin oils. I can feel it in the shower (and I didn't even use a great amount). When I towel dry my skin is flaking like crazy so I have to go back into the shower and use a really old bottle of actual organic natural body wash. It was expired but it fixed my skin up. I threw it out this morning. Really not happy with this. They even claim this body wash is supposed to create "Smooth, soothed gorgeous skin". Not what happened.
Two stars because it is cruelty free and it tried to be organic and natural. But now I see that Giovanni is just a horrible company trying to ride the green-wash wagon and make as much money off of unsuspecting customers as possible. I DO NOT reccomend.

Great body wash!

I tried this in "Raspberry Winter" scent and it is magnificent! The first listed ingredient is organic raspberry. The next four are elderberry, mango, coneflower, and sea kelp. The hard-to-pronounce ingredients come much later. Vitamins are also included.

Generally I am more of a bar soap than body wash type of person, so I have been using this as a shampoo. It works wonderfully. It works better than some other natural shampoos I have tried.

Giovanni is now sold in Target, which means it is very easy for most people to find!
