Delicious natural isotonic beverage!
I really like coconut water -- this stuff tastes great. This brand is a really good option -- it's a convenient single serving size and very delicious. Of course, the aseptic packaging is a problem - it's not really recyclable.
There are many reasons to drink coconut water -- it's totally delicious.
"It's a natural isotonic beverage, with the same level of electrolytic balance as we have in our blood. It's the fluid of life, so to speak." In fact, during the Pacific War of 1941-45, both sides in the conflict regularly used coconut water - siphoned directly from the nut - to give emergency plasma transfusions to wounded soldiers.

You put the lime in the coconut
after a trip to Hawaii i've become addicted to drinking fresh coconut milk, cracking it open and eating the meat. i've been sad that i haven't been able to relive this experience since i returned home. i've been on a search for something to help bring me back to that luxurious island experience, and i believe i found it: vita coco coconut water. granted, it's not entirely the same, but the flavor is just about perfect. i recently tried one in a can, and it tasted like tin. *bleck!*
coconut water is incredibly good for you. it's a quick and easy way to rehydrate yourself AND helps you poop. apparently it helps save you from a hangover (ahem, not that i would know).
con: it's imported from my homeland... brazil. great place, but a bit far away.
