How would you know?

Seriously -- if the vegetarian corn dogs taste just like "regular" corn dogs, then why would you bother to eat the meat corn dogs?

In my pregan days -- before I went totally vegan -- I thought these were a great "on the go" snack. The cornbread coating is chewy and crisps up nicely in the toaster oven. Don't look too hard at the ingredients, though -- there's a lot of stuff you can't pronounce. These contain a lot of highly processed soy, in addition to milk powder and egg so they are not vegan.

A single corndog is 150 calories and contains 21% of your RDA of sodium -- that's a lot of salt, though these are low-fat. Are you really going to be satisified with one corndog for dinner?

I'm going to take a wild guess that they are probably more nutritious than your standard meat corndog.

Still, do you want to put either of these into your body?

Check out the ingredients and then decide -- you can probably do better.
