Easy Corn Meal Pizza At Home - Great for Parties or Indulgence

When Vicolo had shops selling pizza in the San Francisco Bay Area, it had a cult following.

Now they sell their non-GMO organic cornmeal crusts at stores like Whole Foods and other health food stores, increasingly across the US.

That is a good thing. Their crusts at around $4-5 for 2 crusts are a fantastic base for ANY kind of pizza, whether to cut up as appetizers or as a meal.

I always have them in my freezer to make in a pinch by throwing on random toppings such as: apple / caramelized onions / walnuts and blue cheese. Or sausage, onion, broccoli and cheese.

Even if you just melt cheese on Vicolo's corn meal crusts, you've got a good meal. Their prepared pizzas are a pretty good deal but I've found adding my own toppings is always the best.
