Patagonia's messenger bags are durable and cool

I love my Patagonia messenger bag -- it's their Critical Mass line: extremely hip-looking, incredibly comfortable, made with strong and durable fibers -- I actually scored the blue-colored one which I don't think they're making anymore (Like the picture? This is what it really looks like!) -- anyway, for like $90 this is one of the best purchases I've made in a while.

And you wouldn't believe how much space is in one of these things. There's a place for my MacBook, my Klean Kanteen. There's a deep and wide pocket on the top for my iPod, my wallet, keys, pens, Altoids.

You can adjust the straps from a number of places. You can even toggle an extra black strap around your waist or across your chest when riding or when you need a bit extra leverage for traipsing.

This messenger bag is the bomb. It would make an excellent gift, either to your friends, loved ones, or yourself.
