No love

I have been trying to mix up where all my sugars come from (I use some raw sugar, some honey, some agave etc.) and this seemed like a fun new product to add to my coffee. BLEGH! It doesn't dissolve at all - everything i put in sank to the bottom and made my coffee taste, not sweet, but strange. May be good for baking - i dunno. What I do know is you should never ever put it in a liquid.

Use it for baking!

This sugar substitute seems good in theory, but it really is what it says on the package- ground up dates! Its not very sweet so I would imagine it would take much more of this than conventional sugar to sweeten your baked goods.
