Yves...If You Please Deli Style Turkey

So I am thinking about being a vegetarian and I have tried quite a few of Amy's meals (the vegetarian ones) and I do like them. I thought I would experiment and try some of meatless meat products. I got the Deli Style Turkey by Yves...If You Please. I did not like the taste. It tastes similar to Oscar Myers bologna, not turkey. The texture is similar to Oscar Myers meat products too (very smooth and the slices are small and round and have brown smooth edges). I have bought some of Yves tofu dogs. I will try them soon.

meatless sandwich slices

A division of Hain Celestial, Yves Veggie Cuisine makes great meatless deli slices. They're made with non-GMO soy and have no preservatives like artificial flavors, nitrates or nitrites in them. They're a great alternative to sliced meat. Get 6 grams of protein from just one slice. I'm surprised by how good this product is and often pick it up at my local co-op, despite the fact that I'm an avid meat eater.
