Dr. Hauschka Deodorant - Floral

Mainstream deodorants are horrible, leave residue, and their aluminum content probably cause cancer. Great news... which is why I switched from Dove/Speedstick to Dr. Hauschka. When I tried typing 'Dr. Hauschka deodorant review' into google, very few hits popped up. I became frustrated and quickly became indecisive about purchasing this $23 deodorant. That is a lot of money for a 1.7oz glass bottle of no-BO. BUT! I clenched my teeth and just bought some. And wow... this truly is the HOLY GRAIL of deodorants.

First of all, I've thoroughly investigated every ingredient in this little glass bottle. And there is NOT ONE that makes feel suspicious, cheated, or uncomfortable. After propping open my Consumer's Dictionary of Cosmetic Ingredients, I couldn't find a single ingredient that was going to eat my cells alive. So that made me extremely happy.

So does it work? That was my main worry. Well, it does work, and it works very comfortably. I have a full time office job right now, and it is 86º outside. I rolled a couple of sweeps of this deo in the morning, and it lasts all the way until I'm done with work. Covers me just fine.

When I go for jogs or go to the gym after work, I of course make sure to do another couple of sweeps. Then I'm fine until the end of the workout. I've also been using this deodorant for the past 10+ days or so. It is very consistent and very smooth. My white office shirts aren't stained, and my grey jackets don't have white streaks on them.

The deodorant is really smooth like a fine cream. Similar to the consistency of a lotion. However, the roll on application is so smooth and easy that it neither clumps nor gloops. PERFECT. I am absolutely enamored by this little bottle! Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. I have yet to notice any flaws or cons in this product. Completely beyond my expectations.
