“Know Now, Act Fast and Make a Difference”

Earth 911 is a division of the leading media cause company Global Alert. This site is a terrific environmental directory and resource to gather information about recycling, air quality, climate change, pollution prevention, waste reduction and general tips on how we can better protect our environment. What I really like about this site is that it works as a clearinghouse, providing a single source to help each of us find local eco-solutions. Looking to recycle or find old windows for your remodeling project? Type in windows, type in city...Earth 911 not only gave me Bring Recycling in Eugene, Oregon, but it notified me of local recycling events with their dates and locations. Today's event listings were for Christmas tree pick-ups. You can also search for articles too. There is an Earth 911 for students to learn about the environmental resources available to them. You can also register to set up an account and create a password to access the other benefits of using Earth 911 and connect with others who share their ideas and sources.
