Two pairs and counting, sustainable Ecco
I've got two pairs of Ecco's, a brown leather pair for dressiness, and a red tennis shoe pair for sportiness. And I aim to get more. These are some of the best, most comfortable shoes I've ever had, and what's sustainable about them is that they last forever. I've already had both of mine going on two years, I wear them ALL THE TIME, and they're barely even giving signs except wisdom that comes with age. Not only are they comfy, they're beautiful looking, really top-notch design. I guess they're also designed to absorb shocks, which I think is true. And they give your feet exquisite breathability. The company is 40 years old and Danish. It's amazing how my shoes sculpt to my feet over time, so now I feel like they were made just for me.

Most comfortable and attractive shoes I've ever owned
I purchased my pair of Ecco men's dress shoes about 2 years ago, and I've barely taken them off my feet. These shoes are more comfortable on my feet than my sneakers, and they double as fancy dress shoes with my suits. I have an expensive pair of dress shoes that I haven't worn in years because they hurt my feet. Finally, I found a shoe manufacturer that included comfort and style in their design and build process! These shoes look as good as the first day I bought them, and they come from a Danish company that is serious about protecting the environment. They follow socially conscious buisness practices (see their website), and use vegetable dyes in their shoes. For me, the best part is that I won't have to buy several pairs of shoes anymore for different outfits and occassions, because my Eccos are perfect for so many settings. Try a pair on at a shoe store near you, and you won't believe how comfortable they feel on your feet..from the very first wear.
