ECO bags
FYI, you can also donate money to nearly any environmental charity, and you'll get a free totebag. Check out National Resources Defense Council, the Ocean Conservancy, the Union of Concerned Scientists, etc. Usually a donation of $10 will get you one, and you are helping promote an important cause while decreasing the use of petroleum products, sea turtle deaths by suffocation, AND spreading the word in a non-judgemental and effective way - by example.
I have several so that it's easy to always have one in my car, backpack, home.

Carry On Sustainably :)
Like most anyone who would be reading this, the plague of disposables irkes me to no end. Especially the horrendous plastic bags flying from the checkout counter to the landfill in millions per second. I would always bring a tote bag to my local health food store, or even stuff the groceries in my back pack, but it surprised me how many people would be in there buying fair-trade coffee & local, organic produce only to bring them home in layers of plastic bags. So, when I came across ECO bags, I instantly ordered a whole bunch of their 'signature' recycled cotton large totes... I painted original designs on them with slogans about sustainability and gave them to the store to give to their most frequent shoppers, hoping they will be (re)used. I'm running out of money to keep giving these away! The company is absolutely brilliant. They keep 'new' plastic bags out of landfills, their materials and labor practices are top notch, and their products are vast & incredible.
