Ecos Review

I love this product. It gets my clothes clean and smells wonderful with out being over powering. My husband loves the scent as well. It is not unmanly. I love that it doesn't set off my sensitive skin to itching. I love that when I pour it out the scent of lavender and it looks like liquid diamond. That is not usually a goal of laundry detergents I know, but it makes me smile every time I pour it out. Any thing that makes a drudge chore like laundry nicer is a big gold star in my book.

Ecos Laundry Detergent

I have been using this product for 2 months and am generally pleased with it. We get a lot of static cling so I still have to use a fabric softener. Also, it seems to leave an odd smell but only on our fleece sweaters ( I counter this by adding a bit of vinegar to the final rinse). On all other fabrics it smells lovely and it cleans the clothes very well. I plan to keep on buying it at Cosco (great price).

Very Pleased!

Our local Sam's store carries this detergent. I've tried all the natural brands and this surpasses them all. I'm very pleased with it and also love that it softens clothes without needing to add softener. I do still add an oxygen non-chlorine bleach to my whites.

Ecos baby laundry

I use the Ecos- Baby laundry and it works great on my baby's clothes. The smell is great. We also use the regular magnolia & lily deteregent and works good, but you have to add more than just a full cup on clothes that are extremely dirty like my husbands work clothes. My dad likes to argue with me that you only have to use 1 cup, but his work clothes don't come out as clean as they should with only 1 cup, they don't smell bad but they still have dirt and stains. I would say to use 1 and 1/4 cup on clothes that are extremely dirty, if you have a dirty job or sweat a lot.

ECOS Laundry Detergent

I LOVE the ECOS laundry detergent! It is by far the best detergent I have ever used! It cleans, smells fresh and I don't need any softener or dryer sheets. I have a friend who I told about it and she uses it for her 2 month old baby and she has no problem with any allergies. And she says it cleans all the spit up off! She said she used to use Dreft and always had to soak or wash it twice because it never worked but thought she had to use it for her baby. She is so happy now that she can use only ONE bottle for the whole family. I love that they put all the ingredients on the back too. So I can see what's in it.
I found it at Costco. It is a pretty good deal there. It is a big bottle (210 oz.) though so I put it in a smaller container but it is a really good price. Not only is the ECOS good but this company has a product called OXO BRITE that I found at Whole Foods and it works! Boy it is wonderful! Just really brightens things up! And doesn't irritate my skin or anything. I actually use it for a ton of things. I went to their website and found they make a lot of products!

It really works...

It really works. Good value because you only need half a cup for a whole load. You can use it full strength to remove stains.

The best

definately the best 'green' laundry detergent by far. I love the magnolia scent. It also gets my whites white, and my brites bright. Really I was amazed how dingy my clothes had been after I started using the Ecos. I also like the concentrated formula. Smaller container, less heavy to carry, less plastic, less waste. And it's rated for front loaders.

By far my favorite

Ecos laundry detergent works great and smells great--thanks to essential oils. I like to buy the economy size at Costco which also cuts down on packaging. It is pretty affordable when I do that and that way I have plenty of Ecos for the year.

No complaints so far!

I've just started using the regular laundry detergent, and I don't have any complaints yet! Seems to do the job with cleaning my clothes, with the added benefit of knowing that it's better for me and the planet. I'll keep on buying it if it does what it's already doing!

Ecos Laundry Detergent Is Wonderful!

We use Ecos to wash our kitchen towels, linens, chef coats - all which are very very grungy at times! It cleans everything beautifully and smells so fresh. And, we found it at Costco - it was priced right!

Works for me!

While shopping in a traditional grocer store where organics and evironmentally friendly products are scarce, I discovered Ecos and found a noticeable difference in my daily wash. I'm happy with the price too.

Yes, this stuff is better than (7th) but the fabirc softener additive does nothing for the clothes.

Liquid laundry

Lovely product for the chemically sensitive. It is also recommended for front-loading washing machines because it leaves no residue in pipes.

Makes me feel clean

I feel clean not only because my clothes are clean bur because I know I'm not hurting the environment when my wash water goes down the drain. I have been using it for years and it makes me feel good to do my little bit for the environment. This is only one of all environmentally sound products I use and I recommend them to friends as well.

Ecos Laundry Detergent

Performs well in hot and cold and actually gets things clean, unlike a number of other green products (this means you, Seventh Generation). I'm a mountain biker and come home with seriously dirty clothes and Ecos gets them nice and clean.
