Switched From Soy to Hemp

I recently switched my breakfast drink from a soy-based product to hemp. When my allergist's test proved I was allergic to soy, I decided to avoid soy as much as I can. I spent quite a bit of time talking with health food clerks about the best product to buy. One store clerk convinced me that Nature's Way EfaBold cold-milled, organic Hemp Protein & Fiber with Omega-6 was the best she could recommend. Two points just for being THC-free and a non-GMO hemp product. The other three points are for the full complement of amino acids, the load of vitamin and minerals available, and the zero carb count! Good tasting is the bonus. I mix it with fresh fruit and rice milk. Initially, I feel a very fine grit or chalky texture in my mouth, but that's no big deal. After I drink it, I find there is no aftertaste that lingers, like some protein beverages leave you with.

Nature's Way controls the production of this hemp powder from soil to end product. There are no chemicals, solvents, sugars, additives, preservatives, pesticides nor herbicides used in during the process of growing, harvesting or manufacturing this product.
