After spending about an hour examining the various face cream and lotion products at my local natural foods store, I picked Zia's Skin Basic's line, Everyday Moisturizer with organic joboba. At $18.95 for 1.6 fl oz., I really wanted to love this stuff. I've been using it for 2 weeks now, and it's just OK.
The packaging has a lot of "green" marketing on it - made from 50% post consumer waste, manufactured with wind power, my purchase enables Zia to plant trees with American Forests' Global Releaf Project, paraben-free, fragrance-free, cruelty-free, recycled symbol, organic joboba and chamomile... And while it's really helpful to know these things and influenced my decision to buy this product, the true test is when you use it and in this case, I can't tell that it's made much of difference in my face and how I feel about putting stuff on my face. The Alba aloe & green tea facial moisturizer (oil-free, 76% certified organic) I used before might have actually been better.
