Profits over safety AGAIN
These guys just don't give up. First, Exxon screws us all at the gas pump. Then we get the news that Exxon will pay less than $500 million for all of the damage it did to Alaska, all while raking in record profits. Then they refused to pay interest on that already minute figure. Now we learn that they are the reason we haven't had a ban put on phthalates in children's toys yet. The scare happened months and months ago. Before Christmas. I don't know about the rest of you, but I for one was really curious what was taking congress so long. Now we know. I generally believe that people who disagree with me do so out of the good of their own hearts, and don't neccessarily think it makes them bad or evil people. The management at Exxon Mobile is composed of bad, evil people.
