This was not one of my favourite Dr. Hauschka products. It's too heavy for an eye cream (this really is more of a balm, like a lip balm or a wax). It contains cocoa butter and jojoba oil but perhaps more delicate oils would be better. The smell is quite strong - the carrot root extract is very noticeable and off-putting. It sits on the skin, there's little absorption, even if you use a very small amount, and it stays the orange color, so you can't wear it easily during the day.

I found I dried the skin around my eyes more in trying to remove it. After a few uses, it irritated the corners of my eyes as well - perhaps the neem leaf extract was too strong for around the eyes. This cream might be more useful if you have eye infections or dermatitis, and need something more anti-bacterial. However, the price has also recently gone up - not worth it.
