No longer pure as it once was

I have known this line intimately since the late 70's. In my opinion its been reformulated and it is no longer pure. Check out Martina Gerbhardt skin care if you want pure beautiful skin care!

Good but...I have some questions.

I cannot argue that the products are interesting but I am concerned with the ingredients: why is alcohol listed as usually the 2nd ingredient? Why is peanut oil used when there are many better and friendlier oils for your skin. The web site says that peanut oil, "has a neutral energy that WALA feels does not interfere with healing herbs." What? If peanut oil is $19/gallon, why do these products cost so much? It's not the cost of the alcohol or the witch hazel they add (do they not interfere with the healing herbs?). I am sure that cost supposedly reflects the sheer labor-intensive nature of a biodynamic farm, which is still not proven to be any better than organic farming with its relatively less expensive products. All in all, I like the concept of the products, but feel they are not money well spent for the ingredients when there are many better alternatives out there.

Dr Hauschka Holistic Skin Care Products

This is the best and cleanest line out there. It's been around since 1967 out of Germany and it only uses plants and minerals. They were 'green' before "green" was trendy. They believe in the energy of the plants and do not even allow electric tools in the herb gardens. This company gets better and better the more I learn! I've used it head to toe for 3 years and love it!!! Remember our largest organ is our skin! It matters what we put on it as much as what we put in our bodies!! Try this company. You will fall in love!!!

Dr. Hauschka Skin Care

I've been using these products for a little over a year now. I love every Dr. Hauschka product I've tried. The Cleansing Milk is especially gentle. My face never feels dry or tight after I use it. One drawback is that the way some of the products are packaged makes it harder to get out the last couple uses compared to other brands I've used. Considering how expensive this line is every last drop counts.

Holistic Face Care

I tried these products by chance, and now I can't stop using them. They are the best skin care products I have ever tried. They are 100% natural, no animal testing, and come from biodynamic growth. Their prices are a bit higher than other products. But you are not wasting your money. Your skin is worth it.
