it all started in Ethiopia
Long hailed as the birthplace of coffee (I don't know whether I believe it or not), Ethiopian coffee sure can be fantastic. The San Francisco-based Mountanos Brothers also know how to roast it! This is 100 percent shade grown, organic, and fair trade. The Mountanos Brothers came from Greece a few generations back and have retained a loyal coffee following that's benefitted everyone. I drink this coffee all the time, in fact I'm drinking it right now. It's got just the right balance of nuttiness and acidity. Its length tapers off into a bitter fruitiness that I only associate with fine coffee.
