These days, sugar is a big deal. How we sweeten our foods plays a big part in affecting our health. Wholesome Sweeteners offer better alternatives. They were one of the first companies to make certified organic and fair trade sugar available. It makes me feel better about what goes into my daily cup of coffee. I also like the description they give of how they make the sugar on the back of the bag. It gives me a real feeling of authenticity. The sugar cane is crushed, the juice is extracted, and heated, and the syrup is hand paddled to make crystals.
