I love the Farmers' Community Market!

I wish this market could be open year round, but it is also nice to have a break over the winter. It makes going back in spring all the better! Everyone at the market is so nice and knowledgeable. In the first month or so of the market returning for spring the main focus is on transplants (herbs, veggies, and berries) though there are some excellent veggies available too (asparagus, spinach, spring onions, etc.) After that...look out! It is a vegetable explosion. They have the best variety of tomatoes (and an annual Tomato Fest where you can sample all of the different kinds.) We eat very well during the summer, mainly due to the Community Market! In addition to veggies, there is a great selection of baked goods, grass-fed beef, lamb, sheep cheese (soooo good!,) coffee, soap, and other amazing little finds. This is my favorite market in town! As for prices...vegetables are very reasonable usually (especially for the quality you are getting.) Breads, cheese, and meat are more pricey, but again the quality is well worth it.
