Delectable local bakery
If heaven had a scent -- it would be this bakery. They have a ton of gorgeous pastries and cookies -- none are vegan -- and a wide selection of breads. The double olive bread, whole wheat sourdough pumpkinseed and cranberry pumpkin seed breads were just out of this world. They make all these wonders right in front of your eyes and you can see everything going on in the kitchen. Do yourself a favor - make the stop in Alameda that will make your tummy happy.

Gotta try them
I love this business. Their food is just to die for. I particularlly recomend their chocolate cookies which have chocolate chips and some can also have nuts. Walnuts I think. Those might be my fave food in the world (right behind anything my mother makes, of course). The food gets a deffinate 5 stars, but the overall rating gose down a notch for thier high prices. Then it goes back up a notch for the good looking guy who sells thier goods at the Livermore (& probablly pleasanton) farmer's market.

Best Bread since Acme came to town
I love their pumcho muffins. they are pumpkin and chocolate, as they say in la "to die for, darling". They also have great little carrot cakes with cream cheese filling - delish! the bread selection changes daily and is fantastic - fresh crunchy crusts, fluffy insides
