the future of food

I strongly believe you are what you eat. The way food is being handle,,,, all these chemicals that causes cancer that we ingest into our system, we need to be educated around theses issues. It will change the eating process as a whole

They're all absolutely "must see' documentaries, but I cast my vote for The Future of Food: http://www.sustainlane.com/reviews/the-future-of-food/XB4B3B3AHAV3HNLTKD8ODPZNS23R.

Super Size me definitely has an impact on my students. There are probably worthier films, but I know which one gets high schoolers attention when I show it.

Super Size Me. I didn't see any of the others, so maybe my vote shouldn't really count.

Supersize me is is more health-oriented than ecological, but also has the widest release and probably the most impact on viewers. I haven't seen the other three either.

I would like to vote for King Corn. I'd also like to give an Honorable Mention to 'Fast Food Nation'.

Voting for Supersize Me because I also haven't seen the others, although I know I should! I'd also like to second Charles B.'s vote for Fast Food Nation.

King Corn made me really understand how widespread and twisted the problems are with our food system. It makes it really clear that if you don't know who and how they are raising your food, you really don't know what's in your food. And it's critically important to know what's in your food. Super Size Me is an excellent film for people who are still buying and eating processed and/or fast food. The most fun to watch though was The Real Dirt on Farmer John, great across the board. I cast my vote for King Corn.

My vote is for drum roll please.........SuperSize me. It was truthful and shoking. It made me vomit. Going to McDonalds for me is near impossible after watching that. I try to eat better foods when I go out now.

King Corn, though The Future of Food was also very insightful.

I haven't seen the other movies, but Super Size me is anything other than a default vote. It really hit the message home that we need to change out eating habits. I'm fortunate that my parents taught me good eating habits when I was young, and I always knew that fast food wasn't good for your heart, blood pressure, or waistline, but I never knew that it was damaging to your liver! That's truly the mark of a good documentary: something that can teach you more, even when you think you have the jist of it.

Well today my vote is Future of Food...but I have not seen King Corn...I need to broaden my horizons. Michael Pollard, has, I believe, touched on it in the Cornification of America.
