MUIR GLEN FIRE ROASTED TOMATO PASTA SAUCE
I'm an organic farmer for our small, family-owned farm in northern California.
While I love the TASTE of Muir Glen tomatoes and this product in particular, I rarely purchase them. Reason? Muir Glen is OWNED BY GENERAL MILLS, producer of nutritionally deficient breakfast cereals and a host of similarly tainted snack foods which are especially targeted for children. They regularly use GMO products, pesticide-smothered produce, high fructose corn syrup, artificial ingredients, artificial colors & flavors, on and on.
It's great that they at least have an organic line but until they stop producing food products that HARM US AND THE EARTH, I will give purely organic, green businesses my money.
