Flippin' Cool

This is a great door mat - I walk in the park a lot, and its great at getting all of the debri off of my shoes. However, it is crazy bright, so its great for kids rooms (or if you live with an adult that acts like a kid). I also like that, because it is made from recycled flip flops, each one is different.

I Won't Be Flip-Flopping on My Support For This Doormat

I absolutely love this doormat! It's made from reclaimed materials manufactured during the flip-flop making process. Basically, when a factory makes flip-flops, they take huge sheets of that flip flop material and cut as many flip flop shapes out of it as they can. Then the rest of it is considered waste and thrown away. not anymore. Now that "waste" product is reclaimed and made into these awesome mats! I hear they even have laundry baskets and sculptures made out of it too.

My favorite thing about this mat is that, because it is made essentially from scraps, each one is unique. The company gets all of these scraps from the factory and then fits them together in random color order. No one else has a mat just like it. Excellent!
