Nifty Folding Recycling Bags

Although these bags are made and transported from afar, they are a nifty solution to sort, store and haul your recyclables to your local recycling center. The bag size is 12"L x 12"W x 18"H. Because they are waterproof plastic-coated bags, you can wash and dry them and put them away when not in use. Velcro tabs link bags together in a row, and the sturdy handles make the bags easy to transport your sorted recyclables, bag by bag. Paper goes in the orange, cans in the gray, and glass in the blue bag. I like the clear plastic windows with image/text labels to show you what each bag is designated to collect. Cost is $6/1 or $15/3.

[Note: The price is hard to beat, but if you prefer recycling fabric you already have or can find waterproof cloth really cheap, you can always DIY by shopping for colorful water-proof material and bang out your own uniquely designed, folding recycling bags. These make a great green gift, either way!]
