Hypoallergenic, makes your dishes sparkling clean.
I have used just about every natural dish liquid out there but this is the one my house has kept with! It works wonderfully, i don't have to use a ton of it, and it smells nice.

The product works just like most dishsoaps do, but I just feel like I need to use too much and therefore it ends up being more expensive. The "suds" do not last as long as typical dish soaps. There are other brands of eco- dishsoaps that fit the bill a lot better than this brand. Their other products are amazing, I'm just not as happy with thier dishsoap.

i have used this product for over a year. it does the dish job, + i use it in the soap dispensers
for the bathroom sinks. i also put a drop of the liquid in a bowl of water to wash fruits & veggies,
then rinse w/clear water.

I NEVER buy regular dish soap anymore. Whether it's 7th Gen. or some other brand, I always get the natural cleaners. I recently found out that mixing in a half-cup of dish soap with one of those spray bottles that attaches to your hose really helps keep chiggers and small pests off your lawn without harming the environment or killing insects. It worked like a charm for me. Just be sure not to over spray, and don't do it on a hot day because you want the liquid to soak in before it dries.

I'm sure there is some homemade variety that is even eco-friendlier than this, but with no fragrances, dyes, or phosphates, this is what my household uses.

I believe that using eco-friendly cleaning products around the house is essential to minimizing the confluence of toxins in our groundwater and soil. 7th Generation has done a wonderful job creating a full line of cleaning products that are not harmful to people or the environment. So many of us don't realize that the products created in laboratories using chemicals leave a residue on our plates, clothes, etc. which we eventually ingest either directly or indirectly. 7th Generation offers a complete line of highly effective cleaners for the dishwasher, clothes, dishes, bathroom, etc. in addition to creating toilet paper, paper towels, etc. that are unbleached. I am grateful that their company is doing such a great job to offer all of us eco-friendly

I've been using their dishwashing liquid for almost a year. I've tried other eco friendly dishwashing liquid as well but seventh generation seems to offer the best product of all. They smell really good as well as gentle enough to use every day. Lavender scent is my favorite. I've been recommending to my friends and roommate and they also started using it and they love the products :-) It is a little expensive compared to other dishwashing products/brand but it's really worth the money if you think about the quality of the product and what it does to our planet.

I use Seventh Generation dishwasher detergent and notice the clear and sparkling dishes and glasses after the wash. I also have peace of mind knowing that the detergent contains no toxic, phosphate, bleach or dye, and I can use it for gray water systems to water my trees.

It works just fine in my opinion. It works better than Palmolive or Dawn. There is no need to scrub before and after. It leaves dishes shiny and ready to go.

I would rate this product a five out of five because of its effectiveness in the cleaning of my dishes. Also I really appreciate the non-toxic waste that is released into the water system because so many products as it is release toxic chemicals. thank you seventh generation you will continue to have my loyal support. Your innovation inspires me.

Using dish soap to reduce pests is certainly better than using toxic chemicals, however I would like to clarify that it does still kill insects. The way soap (natural or otherwise) works is by having a hydrophobic (fat... more »
