Natural Dog and Cat Food

It took a lot of research and a lot of sifting through shifty emails from pet food companies to find dry dog and cat food that does not include ingredients from China. Companies that I thought would be able to give me a straight answer could not do so. One company that I was really pulling for actually used a smaller typeface in the middle of the email where they stated that they could not guarantee that their food would not include ingredients from China. I was pretty offended that anyone would actually think that would fool me.

Then I found Fromm.

We feed our furrier family members a combo of Stella and Chewy's (raw freeze dried and frozen steaks) and Fromm dry food. Fromm contains NO artificial coloring or preservatives. We alternate between the grain-free Surf & Turf and the other four-star nutritionals varieties. Within two weeks of switching, our long-haired cats were shedding less and their coats showed a remarkable difference in shine and texture. DragonWagon had a dry spot on his back that always seemed a little courser than the rest of his coat-- but that cleared up as soon as we made the switch (over a year ago). We'll never look back!

They look great and love their food! I would rather spend a little extra on food and never have to take them to the vet for anything but a routine checkup. Allergies, urinary tract infections, skin problems, hot spots, and a million other things (possibly cancers and kidney failure) have been linked to a poor diet and harmful chemicals and unnatural ingredients in pet foods. Not to mention the scary pet food recalls.

Dogs and cats with allergies may want to try the grain-free.
