Gilasi Rocks!

Gilasi countertops are the most beautiful recycled countertops I've seen. The light inside the material seems to be reflected from all angles. They're also not just beautiful but extremely functional. Easy to clean, easy to care for, magical to cook and prep dinner on if installed in a kitchen -- but you could use this material almost anywhere. Shelving, etc. Just gorgeous, gorgeous stuff.

Gorgeous countertops!

I was looking for an alternative to those granite countertops everyone has, and Gilasi countertops are beautiful, sustainable and as local as it gets in Chicago. All my neighbors are green with envy.
