First Impression
I have never heard of global exchange before and I have high standards on international travel in terms of sustainability and each person's accountability in their travels. I found that Global Exchange offers incredible travel opportunities that allow people to get out of the mainstream travel facilities and into the heart of the community. This keeps people accountable for where there money is actually being spent and makes them more aware of the reality of other people's lives.

Fantastic gift ideas supporting a great idea
The first time I went into Global Exchange I was looking for a gift, little did I know the story behind it. It's a great way for low threshold people to support green products and fair trade while making it fun!

go fair trade!
The fair trade stores in San Francisco and Berkeley, and online at www.globalexchange.org, are a model of both socially responsibility (paying fair wages to both producers and workers) and sustainability (cool crafts made from recycled products like old oil drums). Check it out. You can find the locations at www.globalexchange.org
